Best in the World: Native Athletes in the Olympics. Billy Mills will be speaking as Patricia Mills will be honored at the unveiling of her painting Torch of Memory. The Mikisew Cree First Nation of Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, Canada have made it possible for Patricia Mills' dynamic Torch of Memory to become part of the permanent collection of the World Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland later this year. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2 pm in the Rasmuson Theater, 1st level at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian at 4th Street and Independence Avenue  SW Washington, DC The inspirational Billy Mills (who remains the only America to ever bring home Olympic Gold in the 10,000 meter race) and his talented wife Patricia have been friends with Robby Benson since he was the actor/athlete hand chosen by Mills to portray him in the film Running Brave. The 1983 bio pic was financed by the Erminskin Band of Alberta, Canada. Currently the multi-hyphenated Robby Benson's self penned medical memoir I'm Not Dead... Yet!  is available in its 'flagship' version for the iPad. It will be released in all formats and print on August 7, 2012. Billy Mills is the National Spokesperson for Running Strong for American Indian Youth  a wonderful charity that does great things for young Native Americans and their communities. Check it out!
