My son Rob Meyer was in your film class last year at NYU and didn’t stop raving about how cool, smart, and fantastic you were. He was very concerned about your heart surgery and was relieved you pulled through with flying colors. Just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful experience you allowed him to have and how much he enjoyed getting to know you personally meant to him. I am looking forward to buying your book and reading about your recovery.

You’re certainly not! Frankly, you’re more ‘alive’ then some people half your age. Keep up all the wonderful work. All my best wishes to you for a very long, healthy, deliriously happy life. I look forward to this book too.

I look forward to reading this book…I had open heart surgery in 1994 (aortic valve replacement) so I know the trauma, relief, joy, etc of emotions that one goes through when pending open heart surgery and coming out on the other end. I wasn’t aware you had undergone the same thing (open heart surgery with valve replacement) until tonight but if I had known you went through it it would have been an inspiration to me. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing everything you accomplish in the future.
